The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it's alarmed in regards to the superior variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out sassa status check to a large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The service point created for intervention experiences a high inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office SRD to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all shoppers and raise entry to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
